You will need about one skein of floss when stitched on 14 count fabric with two strands.
This sampler could either be stitched as a whole or the individual patterns could be used for
various projects like borders, bookmarks, biscornus, even filet crochet curtains, etc. etc.
The big advantage of monochrome patterns is that you can choose any colour and/or fabric
from your stash ... I have assigned DMC 702 as the floss colour. However, DMC 4050 or any
variegated floss will look nice. I recommend you visit Catherine’s blog to see her wonderful
choice of floss ( http://uneaiguilledoree.oldiblog.com/?page=lastarticle&id=1878138 ). Please note
that I have left only three rows and columns for each side of the pattern. Please remember to
increase this figure for moulding.
